Community Advisory Group

Published Categorised as Updates

We are proposing to form a Community Advisory Group for the Connecting Dunbar path project.

The project website  https://connectingdunbar.org.uk/ has a background page which outlines the main contours and scope of the project, which is essentially focused around the feasibility, route options, community engagement and early analysis of behavioural change.

The Community Advisory Group will consist of key stakeholders who can provide oversight, guidance and support to the project. Its purpose is to ensure that the community are firmly part of a successful project.  We want a wide range of local expertise and knowledge to help steer the project and the invitation is open to any group interested in active travel. Our intention is that being a member of the Group is not onerous.

We are proposing the first meeting at 10-11am on Tuesday 27th June – and that this first meeting is held online. Other meetings may be in person or online, depending on what the Group members agree feels is most inclusive.

If you consider you should be part of  the Community Advisory Group, please contact mark@sustainingdunbar.org. Please also feel free to contact him with any queries you may have. There will be plenty of opportunities to engage, even if you are not on the CAG.

We look forward to hearing from you.
