Bike parking

Our local informants told us that the local information was not up to date, nor complete. The data extract shows that bike parking schools is good, as it is for some leisure destinations (coastal car parks), but somewhat limited for those day to day journeys to the High Street. There are data gaps in the numbers of spaces available as well as the type of parking, which is work in progress.

Dunbar and West Barns

East Lothian …

While our project is restricted to Dunbar and West Barns, we noted that the county picture was patchy, with more gaps in bike parking coverage elsewhere, though these may be due to lack of information – so we’ve asked East Lothian Council if it holds asset data for bike parking on its estate.
